Jonathan Patsenker
Jonathan was introduced to music when he was four. Jonathan studied most of his musical career with Svetlana Ostrovskaya, a piano faculty member at the New England Conservatory, and founder of Newton Music Academy. Jonathan has played a variety of composers, from Mozart, to Rachmaninoff, to Bach. At the age of 11, Jonathan started playing clarinet. Jonathan has also shown interest in composing. He has written many works, including classical music, jazz, electronic music, and rock. His piece "Trapped", a modern jazz work, won an award in the Lowell Youth Composer Competition. Outside of music, Jonathan has great intrests in sciences, ranging from molecular biology, to astrophysics. Jonathan also rows for Wayland-Weston Crew.
